The Hadlow Tower is  O N   S A L E  !!!

One of the most remarkable and impressive properties in the British Isles, set in the beautiful countryside of West Kent, is now

U P  F O R  S A L E  !!!

This neo-Gothic Tower dominates the valley around Tonbridge/Kent and features amazingly unique and panoramic views over all the local area. This property offers plenty of opportunities, benefitting from 7 floors all having a Gothic style interior.
The Tower, has a unique and imposing character. It is surrounded by wide green fields and forests, with rolling hills on the horizon; this is the landscape of the Garden of England.
The Tower was completed in 1838 and is a great example of neo-Gothic ecclesiastical architecture which was so favoured in the Victorian era. It was part of the estate of Hadlow Castle and included a church.
The number of 51 bidders on a provisional auction, with a best bid of 3.8 million Pound Sterling showed that the demand for such a historic building is immense, and this will influence the current market value for this property. The minimum price for the Tower is set at £2.500.000 Pound Sterling.

The Architecture

The Tower itself boasts 8 octagonal floors, (7 of which are on sale here) accessed by a central spiral stone staircase. It has 128 steps to "Heaven on Earth", (8 flights of 16 steps to each floor) where several platforms feature a 256 degree panoramic view for 8 miles. The triple 8 factor is probably the most spiritual aspect possible.
As well as Medieval feast halls, all of which are 8 metres across diagonally, there are 8 bedrooms, a Gothic bathroom and a kitchen.

The Vaults

The vaults are fitted out in the original neo-Gothic style to keep the nature of the Tower authentic and to provide a Gothic atmosphere.

The Services

The Tower is equipped with electricity and partial gas/electric central heating.
